Train a personal AI likeness on your PC: photos never leave the machine
Likenor trains a personal likeness from a folder of photos on this computer. The folder stays here. Training photos are not uploaded. There is no account. There is no cloud training service. The line on the site is the same as the fact in the app: Made here. Kept here.
What local training is
A local likeness is a model of one face, trained on the machine that holds the photographs. You choose a folder. The app reads those files on disk. Training runs on the NVIDIA GPU in that same PC. When the run finishes, the likeness is still on that machine.
That is a different shape from a browser tab that asks you to create an account and send pictures to a remote service. Likenor does not take the photo set off the PC in order to train it. Local does not mean invisible. You still install software. You still download a large base model after install. You can still email support@likenor.com. Those are ordinary computer facts. They are not the training folder leaving the machine.
What you need on the PC
The published requirement is Windows or Linux, with an NVIDIA GPU. There is no AMD path and no Intel path. A minimum OS version is not published yet. VRAM needs are still being confirmed, so this article does not print a Fail, Warn, or Pass band, and it does not invent a gigabyte cutoff.
Disk space is easier to state. You need room for the installer and for a later model download of about 60 GB. That later file is the base model the trainer needs. It is not your photographs going out. Plan the disk before you start, not after the download is halfway through.
The honest hardware check, when it is ready to be more specific, belongs inside the app on that machine. Until the public site confirms VRAM figures, treat NVIDIA as required and treat memory as something the app will have to accept or refuse on the day you train.
Downloads are not published yet
The app download is free when it is published. Paid access is a separate licence key that unlocks features inside the application. That purchase is one-time, not a subscription. Price is TBD. Neither installer is a working file on this site today. The Windows name will be Likenor-Setup.exe on downloads.likenor.com. That file will be Azure Artifact Signing-signed. It is not published yet. The Linux name is Likenor.AppImage. That file is not published. There is no public download URL for it. Azure Trusted Signing is Windows-only, so the Linux file is unsigned.
This article does not link a setup executable. The human door is Download. That page stays honest about the current state. If you need a person rather than a page, use Support.
After install, then train here
Once the app is actually installed, the public sequence is short to say.
- The app downloads a model of about 60 GB.
- The owner finishes setup inside the app (the Finish step).
- Training runs later, locally, from a folder of photographs.
- Nothing from that folder is uploaded to train the likeness.
The trained likeness can be exported and reused in other tools, including ComfyUI. Export is a file you already made on this computer. It is not a second training upload.
Which photographs to keep, and which to skip, is a separate note: What photos make a good likeness (and what to skip). The app examines the set on this computer. It does not ask you to ship the folder to a website in order to get a verdict.
What this is not
This is not a claim that the product is launched. The marketing pages can be live while both installers stay unpublished. That is a preview of the words, not a public Windows or Linux file.
This is not a cloud studio with a gallery of other people. It is one owner, one machine, one folder, one GPU. There is no account to create on likenor.com in order to train.
Support is email, not a photo drop. If something fails, write to support@likenor.com or use Support. Do not attach the training folder. Do not send training photos. There is no form on this site that accepts images.
If you are deciding
If the requirement is that the photographs stay on the PC, a local trainer is the shape that matches that requirement. If you want someone else to hold the photos and return pictures, that is a different product class. Likenor is the first of those two.
