Who you are contracting with
You are contracting with Likenor. Contact support@likenor.com. There is no registered company number.
Licence grant
Likenor is licensed to you, not sold. You may install it and use it on computers you own or control, for your own work and for your business. The licence is personal to you: do not pass your licence key to anyone else.
Do not resell the application itself, and do not work around the check that reads a licence key. What you make with Likenor is a separate matter, covered under Selling what you make.
What the free download is
The public Windows installer is free of charge once published.
The free download is the whole application. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Some features inside it need a paid licence key. Whatever is free when you install Likenor stays free for you.
Training runs on your own computer. There is no account, no subscription, and nothing to renew in order to keep using what you already have.
Paid licence key and in-app features
A paid licence key unlocks further features inside the application. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and the key is sent to you by email. The price, and what the key unlocks, are on the Pricing page.
Likenor charges for the software and never for the computing that runs it. If you choose to train on a rented graphics card, that account is yours and you pay that supplier directly. Likenor does not hold your money and does not take a share of it.
Selling what you make
The pictures are yours. Neither Likenor nor Krea claims any ownership of them.
You may sell them, or use them in your business, while your own total company revenue is under 1,000,000 US dollars a year. That limit is set by the Krea 2 Community License Agreement, version 1, which covers the picture model Likenor renders with. Above that figure Krea asks you to take an enterprise licence from them first.
Krea's use policy still applies. It forbids intimate pictures of a real person made without their consent, and pictures made to mislead people about what someone said or did.
Acceptable use of a likeness
Build a likeness only from photographs of yourself, or of someone who has given you their clear permission. The application asks you to attest to this before anything is made, and records that attestation on your own computer.
Permission to build a likeness is not permission to do anything with it: keep to what that person agreed to. The limits in Krea's use policy, linked above, apply to every picture you render.
Hardware and fitness
An NVIDIA GPU is required. VRAM needs are still being confirmed.
Because the application is free, you can install it and let it look at your own machine before you pay anything. It reports what your graphics card can do, and its own estimate of how long a run would take, once it has measured it.
Speed depends on your hardware. Likenor cannot promise a particular training time on a machine it has not measured.
Refunds
If you have bought a licence key and it has not yet unlocked any feature, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. Email licences@likenor.com and say which purchase it is.
Once the key has unlocked a feature, or once those 14 days have passed, that refund no longer applies. Your rights under UK consumer law still apply, and nothing on this page takes them away.
There is no separate refund for a machine that turns out to be slow. The application is free, and it tells you what your hardware can do before you buy anything.
Liability
If Likenor causes you loss, the most you can recover from Likenor is the amount you paid for your licence key. If you have not paid for a licence, there is nothing to recover.
Nothing on this page limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the law of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
