Who you are contracting with
You are contracting with Likenor. Contact support@likenor.com. There is no registered company number.
Licence grant
Likenor is licensed to you, not sold. You may install it and use it on computers you own or control, for your own work and for your business. The licence is personal to you: do not pass your licence key to anyone else.
Do not resell the application itself, and do not work around the check that reads a licence key. What you make with Likenor is a separate matter, covered under Selling what you make.
What the free download is
The public Windows installer is free of charge once published.
The free download is the whole application. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Some features inside it need a paid licence key. Whatever is free when you install Likenor stays free for you.
Training runs on your own computer. There is no account, no subscription, and nothing to renew in order to keep using what you already have.
Paid licence key and in-app features
A paid licence key unlocks further features inside the application. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. After checkout the key is shown on /thanks. The price, and what the key unlocks, are on the Pricing page.
A paid licence key is a charge for the software. Likenor Cloud, when you use it, is a separate charge: you pay for each run with credits, and Stripe takes that payment. If you rent a graphics card in an account of your own, that account is yours and you pay that supplier directly.
If you opt into a cloud run on Likenor Cloud, that run is your choice and is never automatic. Your photographs leave this computer for that run; a third party runs the job and Likenor does not own the GPUs. The Likenor Cloud terms below apply.
Selling what you make
The pictures are yours. Neither Likenor nor Krea claims any ownership of them.
You may sell them, or use them in your business, while your own total company revenue is under 1,000,000 US dollars a year. That limit is set by the Krea 2 Community License Agreement, version 1, which covers the picture model Likenor renders with. Above that figure Krea asks you to take an enterprise licence from them first.
Krea's use policy still applies. It forbids intimate pictures of a real person made without their consent, and pictures made to mislead people about what someone said or did.
Acceptable use of a likeness
Build a likeness only from photographs of yourself, or of someone who has given you their clear permission, and only when you and the person pictured are over 18. The application asks you to attest to this before anything is made, and records that attestation on your own computer.
Permission to build a likeness is not permission to do anything with it: keep to what that person agreed to. The limits in Krea's use policy, linked above, apply to every picture you render.
Hardware and fitness
An NVIDIA graphics card of compute capability 7.5 or newer is required: the Turing generation and every generation since. Older cards cannot run the version of PyTorch Likenor installs, and the app says so before it downloads the models. For video memory, the app estimates that training needs 13.1 GB and is comfortable at 22.5 GB. Under 22.5 GB, training runs more slowly. On a computer with one card, the app does not turn that card away for its memory alone. On a computer with more than one card, a card with less than 12,000 MB is not offered as a choice to train or render on.
Because the application is free, you can install it and let it look at your own machine before you pay anything. It reports what your graphics card can do, and its own estimate of how long a run would take, once it has measured it.
Speed depends on your hardware. Likenor cannot promise a particular training time on a machine it has not measured.
Refunds
If you have bought a licence key and it has not yet unlocked any feature, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. Email licences@likenor.com and say which purchase it is.
Once the key has unlocked a feature, or once those 14 days have passed, that refund no longer applies. Your rights under UK consumer law still apply, and nothing on this page takes them away.
There is no separate refund for a machine that turns out to be slow. The application is free, and it tells you what your hardware can do before you buy anything.
Liability
If Likenor causes you loss, the most you can recover from Likenor is the amount you paid for your licence key. If you have not paid for a licence, there is nothing to recover.
Nothing on this page limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the law of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.

Likenor Cloud terms
Likenor Cloud trains likenesses and renders pictures on graphics cards that Likenor rents, and you pay for each run with credits. These terms apply whenever you use Likenor Cloud. They add to the rest of this page, which covers the application and your licence. Where the two say different things about Likenor Cloud, these terms apply.
You do not need Likenor Cloud to use Likenor. A cloud run is your choice and is never automatic.
Your photographs stay on this computer unless you opt into a cloud run, and a cloud run leaves this computer for a third party Likenor does not own.
The Usage Policy is part of these terms. So is the Likenor Cloud section of the privacy notice, which says what Likenor does with personal data.
The agreement you tick
Before Likenor Cloud uses your photographs, and before each cloud run, the application asks you to tick one box. The box is unticked until you tick it, and you cannot go on without it. It reads:
I agree to the Likenor Terms and Conditions and Usage Policy. I am responsible for everything I do, generate and share with Likenor, and I accept all liability for it. I confirm who I am, and that I am the person pictured or have their consent. I confirm that I and the person pictured are over 18. I understand that each cloud run costs credits and that I will see the cost before it starts.
Ticking the box does not stand in for the consent of the person pictured. When the person pictured is not you, Likenor asks that person for consent directly, and checks that it comes from them, before any photograph of them is used. The Usage Policy says how.
Who can use Likenor Cloud
You must be 18 or over to use Likenor Cloud.
Likenor Cloud is offered only in the countries the application lists when you set it up. In any other country the application tells you that Likenor Cloud is not available there yet.
Your Likenor Cloud account is for you. Do not let anyone else use it.
If you use Likenor Cloud for a business, you are responsible under data protection law for your own use of the photographs and pictures.
Credits, and what a run costs
You pay for Likenor Cloud runs with credits. You buy credits in packs, and the payment is taken by Stripe. Pack prices, when they are offered, are on the Pricing page.
You see the cost before a run starts. Before each cloud run, the application shows what the run will cost in credits. The run does not start until you have seen that cost and chosen to go ahead, and nothing is charged without it.
When a run starts, its credits are held. They are taken when the run finishes. If the run fails, is cancelled or never starts, the credits held for it go back to your balance.
Two cases are different. A run that was still working when its time limit ran out is charged, because the time was used. A run whose end Likenor cannot read stays held until Likenor has checked it, and then its credits are either taken or returned.
Your photographs, your likeness and your pictures
Likenor Cloud uses your photographs, your likeness and your pictures only to run the job you asked for and to make the safety checks on this page. Likenor does not use them to train any other model.
Likenor Cloud deletes them once they are delivered, and always within 24 hours. Your likeness and your pictures come back to the application on your computer.
Likenor claims no ownership of your photographs, your likeness or your pictures. The picture model's own licence and use policy apply to every picture: the Krea 2 Community License Agreement, version 1, and Krea's use policy.
Pictures made with Likenor Cloud may carry a mark saying they were made with AI. Do not remove or hide it.
How you may use Likenor Cloud
Follow the Usage Policy. In short: use Likenor only for lawful purposes; make a likeness or a picture of a real person only with their consent; never of anyone under 18; no intimate or sexual pictures; no harassment, deception or impersonation. You are responsible for what you make and what you share.
Safety checks
To keep Likenor Cloud lawful and safe, Likenor checks what is sent to it.
- Prompts. Every prompt is screened before a run starts. A prompt asking for intimate or sexual content is refused, and the refused prompt is not stored.
- Ages. Every photograph is age-checked on your computer before a cloud run sends any photograph anywhere. A photograph that seems to show someone under 15 is refused, with no override, and is never sent. Between 15 and 25, you are asked to confirm that the person pictured is over 18.
Suspending or closing an account
Likenor can refuse a job, suspend your Likenor Cloud account, or close it, if you break these terms or the Usage Policy, if the law requires it, or to protect someone from harm.
Likenor tells you why, unless the law or someone's safety stops it from doing so. You can ask for the decision to be looked at again through the complaint form.
You can stop using Likenor Cloud at any time. To close your account, write to licences@likenor.com.
Availability
Likenor Cloud runs on graphics cards that Likenor rents. A card may not be free when you want one, and a run may wait for one. Likenor does not promise that Likenor Cloud will always be available, or that a run will finish by a given time.
Likenor may change Likenor Cloud, or stop offering it. If the licence of a model Likenor Cloud uses ends, Likenor may have to stop the runs that use it.
Likenor Cloud liability
You are responsible for what you upload, generate and share with Likenor Cloud.
If Likenor causes you loss through Likenor Cloud, the most you can recover from Likenor is the amount you paid for the credits of that run, or the amount you paid for your licence key, whichever applies.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Your rights under consumer law still apply, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

To complain, or to report misuse of Likenor, use the complaint form. You do not need an account. To ask about your personal data, use the rights page.
Changes to these terms
When these terms or the Usage Policy change, the application shows you the new wording and asks you to agree again before your next cloud run. Until you agree, no new cloud run starts. Credits you already have stay yours.
